Set Up a Virtual Private Network (VPN)

The new VPN user displays on the Manage VPN Connection screen.
To edit a VPN user:
1. Select the VPN user from the VPN Users list.
2. Click the
Edit
button.
3. Type the changes for the user name and password
4. Click the
Save
button.
The changes are saved.
To delete a VPN user:
1. Select the VPN user from the VPN Users list.
2. Click the
Delete
button.
The user is removed from the VPN user list.
Specify the Client-to-Gateway VPN Connection
Enter a pre-shared key to be used for the Phase 1 IKEv1 negotiation.
To specify the VPN connection:
1. On a computer or wireless device that is connected to your gateway, launch a Web browser.
2. In the address or URL field of your browser, type
http://myrouter
.
3. When prompted to log in, enter
admin
for the user name and type the password. (The default
password is
