internal parts may damage the electronic parts and/or compo-
nents and expose the user to electric shocks. This product was
designed in such a way that these components do not need to
be accessed for operation or maintenance purposes. Do not
paint the Alarm. Please remove the Alarm before decorating
or renovating. Netatmo cannot guarantee the latency time

battery away from excessive heat sources and direct sunlight.
To avoid any accidents, the Alarm must be securely attached
to the mounting surface in accordance with the installation
instructions. The following products contain substances that
could damage the sensor and trigger false alarms: household
cleaning products, perfumes, aerosols, solvents, thinners,
paints and glues. Prolonged exposure to the sound alarm
could affect your hearing. Please follow all the instructions in
this document and remember that failing to replace your Alarm
when the instructions specify to do so, pausing your Alarm or
stopping an alarm could be dangerous. The Alarm must stay
installed at all times. The Alarm may not be able to detect
carbon monoxide if insufficient carbon monoxide reaches the
Alarm’s sensor. The Alarm cannot be used by persons with a
hearing impairment. Assuming it is a false alarm when the unit
goes off is dangerous because carbon monoxide is a harmful,
invisible, odourless and non-irritating gas that causes dizziness,
vomiting and kills within minutes.
If there are frequent false alarms, you may need to move your
Alarm and re-install it further away from sources of false alarms.
The Alarm must not be used for more than 10 years after it is
first set up.
HOMEKIT
To control this HomeKit-enabled accessory remotely and
automatically, you need an Apple TV with tvOS 10 or later or an
iPad with iOS 10 or later set up as a hub.

Your Alarm complies with standard EN 50291-1: 2018. However,
this standard does not protect populations that are particularly
sensitive to carbon monoxide exposure such as young child-
ren, the elderly, pregnant women and people with heart or
respiratory problems.
NF MARKING
The NF mark applied to Autonomous Carbon Monoxide
Detectors (DAACO) is a guarantee of safety and constant
quality monitored by specialists.
The NF DAACO mark certifies that the product meets the
conditions specified in the NF292 certification reference
system.
