Solving Problems 6-1
Solving Problems
The Versa S has a built-in checking program that automati-
cally tests its components when you turn on system power.
This diagnostic test is call the Power-On Self-Test (POST).
If the system finds a problem during the POST, it displays
an error message. If this happens, follow the instructions in
the POST error message table later in this chapter.
Read this chapter to familiarize yourself with what to do if
you encounter a problem.
If the screen is blank, the instructions don’t help, or no
error message appears, use the information in this chapter
to determine and fix the problem. You can often solve
problems that occur by yourself.
