To connect your modem and a telephone to the same
wall jack, go to step 5. (To connect both your modem
and a telephone, you need a dual-RJ11 connector.)
Telephone line connection

Plug the other end of the phone cable into the single jack
on a dual-RJ11 connector.
6.
Unplug the telephone cable from the wall. Plug the
cable into one of the remaining jacks on the dual-RJ11
connector.
