4-44 Using Your NEC Versa

Sliding the expansion port cover open

3.

With the back of the system facing you, fit the tabs on
the right side of the PortBar into the ports on the right
side of the system.

4.

Rotate the other side of the PortBar to the left and at-
tach the tabs on the left side of the PortBar to the left
side of the system. Press until the PortBar tabs and NEC
Versa ports click into place.

CAUTION

Make sure you connect the right side of the PortBar
first, as instructed. Trying to attach the PortBar
straight onto the back of the NEC Versa can dam-
age the unit.

Disconnecting the PortBar

Disconnect the PortBar from your NEC Versa as follows:

Facing the back of the system, press down on the release
button on the top left side of the PortBar.
