(8) Connection of power plug

Insert the plug of the power cord, provided with the disk enclosure, into an AC outlet. Since the plug
has an grounding pin, it must be connected to an AC outlet with a grounding terminal as shown below.

The disk array unit will not recognize the disk enclosure just because cabling has
been connected between the units. Provide the proper settings for the disk enclosure
through the maintenance PC. Or, contact your service engineer or an NEC trained
service engineer for assistance in configuring your disk enclosure. See Appendix C
for instructions on the use of the maintenance PC.

Turn the power switch of the disk enclosure to ON.
