You can also select addresses from the phone book in the navigation

10.6.2
Opening the mailbox
You can read text messages from the mailbox of the active telephone.
Note:
A maximum 15 text messages (SMS) can be imported from the
mailbox of the mobile phone.

list opens. The entries are sorted in chronological
order. The symbol to the right of each entry indicates whether the
text message has been opened at least once:

2. Tap on the entry you want.
The

window opens. You can then read the text
message.

Tap on Call if you want to call the sender of the text message
(SMS).
Note:
You can configure the navigation system so that it reads out the
text of the message as soon as the
T
EXT
window is opened (see
"Settings" on page 102). Reading out text messages is not possible in
all languages however.
Note:
Only the mailbox of the active mobile phone can be accessed. As
soon as you activate a different phone or disconnect the Bluetooth
connection, the mailbox will no longer be available on the hands-free
module.
10.7
Configuring the hands-free function
The hands-free module contains a number of settings that can be
individually configured.
10.7.1
Preset
The hands-free module of the navigation device contains four Speed
Call buttons that can be individually configured. The assignment of the
Speed Call buttons is separately defined for each paired phone and
saved with the phone's data. The Speed Call buttons for the active
phone are available in each case.
