Liberty Series™ Ramp Installation Guide-Revision 8/1/2020

Concrete and pavement are acceptable landing surfaces for ramps. Hard-packed gravel
can be an acceptable landing surface depending on the individual’s mobility device
and their ability to maneuver in that gravel. Grass and dirt aren’t recommended for a
landing surface where it can be avoided. Landing pads are available by National Ramp
to provide a safe landing surface where needed.

Ramps should be a minimum width of 36" for residential properties, and 48" for commercial
or bariatric use.

It is the responsibility of the installer or homeowner to check for local codes. While ADA requirements
do not govern residential properties, there may be local codes that your modular ramp must follow.

guidelines.
