Chapter 3 Installation
This chapter mainly introduces the installation of the product, including unpacking and checking,
installation environment, tools, selection of input & output cables, installation procedure, installation
preparations, mechanical installation, battery cabinet installation, etc. Before installing, please pay
attention to the safety standards in the installation illustration.
3.1 Unpacking and Checking
Unpack the UPS and conduct the following items:
Inspect the UPS appearance for shipping damage. If any shipping damage is found, report it to the
carrier and your local dealer immediately. Please provide photos of the UPS damage to us, and
we will offer corresponding service.
Check the delivery list to see if the order is complete and correct. If there is any discrepancy,
take notes and contact the distributor immediately.
3.2 Environment
The UPS installation environment should meet the following requirements:
The temperature and humidity are within the range of 0–40°C and 0% –95% respectively.
It is strictly prohibited to install UPS in a working environment where there is metal conductive
dust.
Don’t install UPS outdoors.
Install the UPS in an environment with good ventilation and free of dust, volatile gas, salt, and
corrosive materials. Keep the UPS far away from water, heat source, flammable and explosive
substances. Avoid direct sunlight.
