3.8.2
Wiring for Series System (NE##PL models ONLY)
The wiring way of series hot standby system is as follows.
Step 1 Dismantle the cover of terminal bar at the back of the UPS, then you can see load disconnectors
and wiring terminal. The load disconnector are respectively battery, mains, bypass,
maintenance bypass, output from left to right, thereinto, the battery disconnector is optional.
Step 2 Dismantle the short-connected bar between bypass switch and mains switch of UPS 1, and
input neutral wire of UPS 1. Connect the three-phase output live wire of UPS 2 to bypass
switch of UPS 1 according to the phase sequence. Connect the output neutral wire of UPS 2
to input neutral wire of main UPS.
The phase sequence of mains input cannot be connected reversely, or the UPS will not start
normally, and the touch screen will prompt wrong phase sequence. If the input phase
sequence wrong, it is necessary to exchange properly.
Step 3 Connect the mains input of UPS 1 to the mains input of UPS 2.
Step 4 Other wiring is the same as the single unit described in 3.9.1.
