Chapter 4 Operation Guide
During maintenance for the UPS, the output switch (OUTPUT) is strictly prohibited to close.
Step 3 After maintenance, turn on the switch of bypass power (BYPASS), output switch (OUTPUT).
After the power work normally and the BYPASS indicator light on, place the manual
maintenance switch to OFF, and recover the hanging lock, then thee load turns to bypass to
supply power.
Step 4 Shut down the UPS according to 4.3.4 Shutdown UPS.

4.5 Operation for Parallel System (P-Models Only)
4.5.1
Start Parallel System
Don
’
t turn on loads before starting parallel system completely. Make sure all switches of
parallel system
’
s load are disconnected and all the input and output power lines are
connected correctly.
Perform the following steps to start the parallel system.
Step 1 Close the bypass switch of the UPS 1, the power board start to work, and the touch screen
begin to display.
Step 2 Close the mains switch of the UPS 1.
If the input power is normal, the rectifier will activate automatically. 30S later, the voltage of
DC BUS is set up completely, and the AD/DC indicator on the panel lights on.
Step 3 Close the battery switch of the UPS 1 (if there is no battery switch, close the battery cabinet
switch and external switches).
Step 4 Close the battery switch to the rectifier to start to charge for the battery.
Step 5 Start the inverter system of the UPS 1.
