Installing NOx sensor

Note:

Note the following:
• If the sensor (3) was subjected to shock or impact load, it is considered to be defective and may not be

used.

• Always replace NOx sensor (3) together with control unit (1).

Install control unit (1) at the eyelets and tighten screws to the specified tightening torque.

Note:

Do not wipe off the thread lubricant applied by the manufacturer.

Coat sensor (3) thread with specified assembly compound as required.

Tighten nut (3) to specified torque using a torque wrench.
