Storage

When storing a piece of gas powered equipment for longer than 4 weeks, the following procedures will prolong

the engine life and minimize issues such as hard starting after storage.

1.

Run the engine until it is out of gas.

2.

Open the air filter cover.

3.

Spray some oil down the throat of the carburetor.

4.

Close the air filter cover.

5.

Pull the starter rope to turn the engine over a few times.

Returning to service:

•

When returning to service, fill the fuel tank with fresh fuel/oil mix.

•

The engine should start normally.
