2. Remove the cables from the back of the unit.
3. Remove the CD/floppy assembly from the mounting bracket. To remove either the CD or
floppy drive, remove the screws that secure the assembly to the mounting bracket.
4. Attach the cables to the replacement CD/floppy assembly, align the assembly in the
system, and replace the retention screws.
A red mark on a wire typically designates the location of pin 1.
Power Supply
As with all computer products, a stable power source is necessary for proper and reliable
operation. It is even more important for processors that have high CPU clock rates of 1 GHz and
faster.
This server accommodates has a single 300 watt power supply. This power supply has the
capability of operating at 100 - 240 input volts. Depress the main power button on the front of the
chassis and then unplug the AC power cord to completely remove power from the system before
removing the power supply.
