Installing the torque tubes

Work steps
Attach the torque tubes to the drive unit as shown in figures A–F.

A First, slide the retaining rings (2) over the threaded spindles. Insert the left connector
(3) with positive locking as far as the stop at the spindle end.
B With the chain drive (1) tilted downwards, slide the left torque tube (4) over the
connector and repeat these steps for the right side.
C D Now push both torque tubes (4) to the outside, so that the chain drive (1) can be
tilted upwards.

Now rotate the threaded spindle so that both torque tubes (4) can be joined to the
connectors on the chain drive with positive locking. Slide both torque tubes up to
the chain drive as far as the stop.

Then attach the two retaining rings (2) to the connectors as illustrated. The retaining
rings must be flush with the connector on the outside. Raised countersunk screw
M8x12 – ISO 7380 TX / Lock washer M8 – DIN 6797 A; M8 threaded plate
Secure the ring with the delivered drill screw 4,2x16 A2.
