SERVICE

Problem Probable Cause Corrective Action

Replacing Burner Ceramic Targets

DANGER

Drain the frypot or remove the handle from the drain valve before proceeding further.

1. Disconnect fryer from gas supplies.

2. Carefully remove accessoriess
as necessary to expose burner.

3. Disconnect the wires from the gas valve terminal
block, marking each wire to facilitate
reconnections.

4. Remove the high-limit
thermostat wires from the
gas valve pilot coil.

5. Disconnect the pipe union
collar at the right side of the
gas valve.

These screws on either

side of the drain valve must

be removed to lower the

burner from the frypot.
