5.8 Changing the mode for the log
It is possible to store respectively:
A
the last 64 events with date and hour (factory
default) or
B
the last 256 events without indication of date and
hour
1)
Disconnect the mains voltage and the rechargea-
ble battery or simply remove the corresponding
fuses (14 and 15).
2)
Wait for at least 10 seconds.
3)
Apply the mains voltage again. (Insert mains fuse
again).
4)
As soon as the display shows “V... Please Wait”,
for the option B of 256 events:
press the buttons 0, 0, 7, No or
for the option A of 64 events:
press the buttons 9, 1, 7, No. This setting is kept
even when resetting to the factory default.
The entry must be terminated even before the dis-
play switches to the indication of date, hour, and
<<< UNSET >>>, otherwise the mode will not be
changed. A change of the mode is neither indicat-
ed acoustically nor visually.
5)
Apply the voltage of the rechargeable battery
again.
5.9 Resetting to the factory default
When supplied, the alarm control system is pro-
grammed to the values of the factory default. These
values are indicated on page 39. If required, the alarm
control systems can be reset to this factory default.
The log is not deleted by this.
1)
Disconnect the mains voltage and the rechargea-
ble battery or simply remove the corresponding
fuses (14 and 15).
2)
Wait for at least 10 seconds.
3)
Apply the mains voltage again (insert mains fuse
again).
4)
As soon as the display shows “V... Please Wait”,
press the buttons 1, 4, 7, No. The entry must be
terminated even before the display switches to the
indication of date, hour, and <<< UNSET >>>,
otherwise no resetting will be made. The resetting
is neither indicated acoustically nor visually.
5)
Apply the voltage of the rechargeable battery
again.
5.10 Further information on the operation
Further information is indicated in the operating in-
structions especially made for the operators of the
alarm control system:

Change the access code for the operators and
provide further codes (if necessary with different
access authorization)

Adjust the time and the date

Switch on and off the function “Chime”

Activate or partially activate the alarm control sys-
tem and deactivate it again

Attention!
By changing the mode setting all previous events are
deleted. This procedure is indicated in the log as
entry “L/Rst” (Log Reset).

Important!
The access code is set to 1, 2, 3, 4 again while
resetting to the factory default (chapter 5.9), how-
ever, it is not reset if it starts with 9. Such a code
can, however, be changed in the programming
mode again but make sure to remember it!
