SNCT Configuration Software

This chapter presents the important features that are available in the SNCT configuration software used for the
HarshIO module commissioning.

Overview

Molex

Safety Network Configuration Tool

(also called SNCT) is a Windows software tool used to do the safety

configuration and commissioning of the HarshIO Safety module.

Warning!

Molex SNCT is a T3 software tool according to the definition provided by the
IEC61508. For this reason, the user shall take all appropriate measures according to
the standard for this type of software tool.

Note!

Before to use the SNCT tool, the HarshIO must have its IP address already setup.

Note!

SNCT software is compatible with Windows 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems running
under Windows XP and Windows Seven.
