Secondary station

 Table 15 describes the error codes that are generated at a 
secondary station. These error codes are displayed at the 
“fail_code” output of the function block at both the 
secondary station and the primary station.

PS416-TCS-200 telecontrol card is not operational
The telecontrol card is not installed or is in the wrong slot.
Check that the PS416-TCS-200 card is correctly installed in the rack. The slot 
address “slotnumber” set in the function block must be the same as the slot actually 
occupied by the PS416-TCS-200 in the rack.

Parameter error “baud rate”
The parameter entered at the function block input “baudrate” is inadmissible. 
Select a valid baud rate value from the card/module’s manual.

Parameter error “character format”
The telecontrol module/card was programmed with the wrong character format.
Switch the controller off and on again to rectify the error.

Parameter error “frame type”
The telecontrol card/module was programmed with the wrong frame type.
Switch the controller off and on again to rectify the error.

Signal quality error DCD evaluation
The modem’s signal quality monitoring function has signalled a fault on the DCD 
line.
Check your telephone line.

Watchdog error
The watchdog timer has elapsed and the module was not reset to the base status.

No DSR signal
The connected modem is not ready.
Check that the connected modem is working correctly.

CTS signal timeout
The modem does not respond to the RTS signal from the telecontrol card/module.
Check that the connected modem is working correctly.

Timeout error
A secondary station is not responding.
