Service 32: Send token (temporary status)

Service 32 is used in conjunction with the “acd” input to 
ensure an effective exchange of data between the primary 
station and connected secondary stations. 

If no high-priority data has been signalled since the last 
communication (“acd” = 0), the secondary station responds 
with a temporary status token. In this way it is possible to 
check the operational readiness of the secondary station.

If high-priority data has been signalled (“acd” = 1),  the 
secondary station transfers ACD data to the primary station 
in a variable length frame.

At the primary station, the active “acd” output indicates that 
the ACD data was stored in the receive data array 
(“acd_sadr”, “acd_subaddress”, “acd_offset”, 
“acd_length”). The “acd” output is reset by the next frame, 
provided that no new ACD data is transferred.
