The primary station is to perform the following tasks in
response to a rising edge at the “strobe” input:
• First signal at the “strobe” input
Read 16 bytes of user data in FT3 frame format from
station 1.
• Second signal at the “strobe” input
Read 12 bytes of user data in FT3 frame format from
station 2.
The following universal function blocks are selected for the
stations and are incorporated into the user programs:
• Primary station
TCMT2_US
• Secondary station 1 TCMT3_UT
• Secondary station 2 TCMT3_UT
A data array length of 20 bytes is used as the basic setting
for the parameters. Thus, one send and one receive data
array, each 20 bytes long, are created in the data ranges of
the secondary stations and one send and one receive data
array, each of 80 bytes, are created in the primary station.
The required data array length is just 16 bytes. This results in
a send and receive data array size of 16 bytes at the
secondary stations and 32 bytes at the primary station. You
do not have to change these parameters unless the required
data array size exceeds the default.
All the stations in a telecontrol line must have the same data
array size. This means that stations with smaller volumes of
user data must have the same data array size as the station
with the largest volume of user data.
The range limits for the variables must therefore be adapted
before you import the function blocks into the application.
