5.4

Access Function of Each Network Module

The network module access function transmits data to the devices on the network via the network module controlled by a C 
Controller module.

CC-Link IE Controller Network module

The following shows the functions to transmit data via a CC-Link IE Controller Network module.

Available access methods

The following access methods are available.

Access by link refresh

This method is used to access devices of a C Controller module from a user program using link refresh. Data in the device is 
transmitted cyclically to another station by reading from/writing to link devices of a network module by link refresh.

*1 Link refresh cannot be performed for SB/SW. Use the direct access.
