2.4 The Ink Cartridge
This fax machine prints the pictures it receives by squirting tiny bubbles of
ink onto the paper. The ink cartridge consists of the ink container and the
printer head with the ink jet. Never touch the printer head or the contacts of
the control board on the yellow cartridge holder. Make sure the data cable
connecting the machine with the cartridge holder always runs in smooth
bends.
You should use the following cartridges for best results: Minolta No. 4961-
490 / Minolta No. 4961-640. FXP-C02 (black), FXP-C05 / H-055 (colour).
Avoiding Ink Stains
Never place the ink cartridge on the printer head when it is not in the
machine. The printer head should point upwards. Never shake the
cartridge. Never try to disassemble the cartridge.
Follow your local litter regulations when you dispose the cartridge.
