Start printing.
• The printing speed may change, depending on
the width of the set media or the position of the
print origin even when the same data is printed.
This is because of a difference in resolution.
Stopping a Printing Operation
Perform the following operation when stopping a printing
operation halfway.

Press the
(LOCAL)
during printing.
• The printing operation stops.
• Interrupt data sending at the PC side during the
data is sent from the PC.
• Printing restarts from the interrupted data by
repressing the [REMOTE] key.
Deleting Received Data (Data Clear)
When you want to stop printing, delete the already
received data.

Press the
key, and then press the
(DATA CLEAR)
in LOCAL.

Press the
key.
• The received data is erased then it returns to the
Local.
Behavior after printing has been
completed
Drying Feed
If set “DRYING FEED” in the MACHINE SETUP to other
than “OFF”, after completing the print, it will start the feed
operation in order for the print surface to be dried by the
external heater.
• Perform the feeding operation until the back edge
of printing passes the heater.
• When you press the [END] key, the operation is
terminated.
• When the machine has been received next data
continuously, it will operate after the last data is
received.

To reduce waste of media
When using the feeding/take-up device, expecting to print
in an anterior edge of the media, printing is possible
without waste by performing the following procedure.

Set the machine “OFF” in “TAKE-UP UNIT”
of “FEEDING/TAKE-UP UNIT”

• Print to the position where the media anterior
edge is wound around the paper pipe at the take-
up side.

Press
(LOCAL) to stop printing.

Set the machine “ON” in “TAKE-UP UNIT”
of “FEEDING/TAKE-UP UNIT”
• If using the peeling function, turn “PEELING” “ON”
and attach the direct-connection unit.

Pressing
(REMOTE) to re-start printing.
