H 408x BM

occur more frequently, we have an

optional

replacement part made from

porcelain which will withstand the most rigorous cleaning and cooking
practices. When installing the porcelain cover, be sure it is oriented with the
smooth side facing the cavity, and note the positioning of the clips. If the clips
are installed improperly, the cover will not be secure and it will rattle. (See the
photos.)

The standard replacement cover is currently part number 5737731, and is
shown as Item #10 in the diagram. The optional cover is currently part
number 7862320, and is illustrated as Item #12 (+11 and +13) in the diagram.
This drawing is from an H 4080 BM (for clarity), but the same applies to all
speed ovens. Be sure to consult the ETD for the latest part numbers, as
these could change in the future.
