To remove the water valve:
Disconnect the 4 connectors from the cold water
(C) solenoid.
Disconnect the 2 connectors from the hot water
(H) solenoid.
Disconnect the valve outlet hose:
Note:
The valve outlet hose is dif fi cult to remove.
a. Squeeze the clamp and slide it back.
b. Carefully break the hose loose by inserting a
small fl at-blade screwdriver under the hose
to break the seal.
c. Remove the hose.

Outlet Hose
Move the valve horizontally to the right. 5.
Remove the two hex-head screws that holds
the valve to the cabinet.

Pump
The pump consists of a 120 VAC, 60-Hz motor,
impeller, impeller housing, and a removable strainer
that helps prevent foreign objects from entering the
pump impeller and drain outlet.
The pump runs whenever the washer is in the
spin function of a cycle.
The pump runs if the water level control
over
fl ow switch is closed and the washer is
plugged in. (Over fl ow protection)
The pump is capable of eliminating 17 gallons
(64 liters) per minute.
Recommended minimum standpipe diameter is

Standpipe maximum height is 96 inches,
measured from the
fl oor at the washer location.
The pump motor has an approximate resistance
value of 10.6
Ω .
