7.3.1 Load parameters in an Automated Manner
If you are using Modbus TCP for the measurement control you have the option of loading parameter files
via the automation interface. Thus you have the possibility of switching between measurement settings
and measurement object types in the automation process. You may setup a list of up to 255 parameter
files which can be loaded using the corresponding index (1 - 255) in the automation interface (see also
Chap.
3.19 , “Documentation” menu). In the “Parameter file mapping” dialog you have the possibility to
setup the mapping of previously saved parameter files and indices.
Press the “Parameter file mapping…” button in the “Measurement control / Measured values output”
dialog (see Chap. 7.3 , Section 3) in order to access the “Parameter file mapping” dialog.

The following settings are available:
1 For each index the currently assigned parameter file is displayed. You may directly edit the desired file
name in this section.
2 Use this button in order to open a standard Windows dialog for selecting a parameter file for the re-
spective index.
3 Each line defines an index for assigning a parameter file. You may use this section for shifting already
existing assignments. In order to do so, press and hold down the left mouse button on the index to be
shifted, move the mouse to the desired target index and release the mouse button.
Confirm the dialog with the “OK” button to apply the settings.
