3.19 Menu Bar
A summary of the menu bar functions (see Fig. 3.57) can be seen in the following.

Connect to sensor: Selects a sensor which is connected to the PC as data source (see
Chapter
3.4 ).

Disconnect from sensor: Disconnects the connected sensor.

Scan for sensors: Identifies all sensors which are located in the same subnet as the PC.
This function is performed automatically when you start the software.

Open 3D file: Selects a file in which a point cloud have been saved previously as data
source (see Chapter
3.5 ).

Open 3D files: Loads multiple files in which point clouds have been saved (see Chapter
3.5 ).

Save 3D file: Saves the point cloud which has been lastly transferred by the connected
sensor (see Chapter
3.6.1 ).

Save measurement data: Saves the point cloud which has been lastly transferred by
the connected sensor and the correspondent 2D measurement data (see Chap-
ter
3.6.1 ).

Auto save 3D files: Activates or deactivates the automatic saving of point clouds after
each measuring operation (see Chapter
3.6.2 and 3.21 , section 4).

Recent 3D files: Loads previously saved or loaded point clouds.

Export 3D data: Exports the currently visualized point cloud.

Print preview: Shows a print preview of the 3D-View.

Print 3D-View: Prints the 3D-View .

Exit: Closes 3DInspect.

Load parameters from file: Loads parameters of measuring programs from a file (see
