Following data can be saved in an article:

Default measuring 

width

This value is used for first traversing, afterwards only the 
product width is used for traversing.

Number of measuring 

points

Number of measuring points which are evenly distributed 
over width of the product.

Additive correction 

consonant

The result of the thickness measurement is corrected ad-
ditively with this consonant. Thereby differences between 
contact and non-contact measurements can be compen-
sated.

Display interval

In the views of length trend this interval is used to display 
data. Depending on the settings, this specification is either 
in [m] or [min]. When 100 meters are entered the length 
trend displays the last produced 100 meters.

Material

Depending on the sensor type, material characteristics 
(Default/Mat/Reflective/Custom) can be stored here.

Fixed track measure-

ment

Here, the fixed track measurement can be parameterized.

The threshold values for an article which are necessary for surveillance of the produc-
tion can either be set manually or by tolerance (relative to setpoint) and are defined as 
follows:
