Capacities

Engine Oils

Engine oils are specifically tested

fo r their suitability in our engines.
Therefore, use only engine oils

recommended by us. Inform ation on
recommended brands is available

at any MERCEDES-BENZ service
station.

A new or reconditioned engine is
filled with an initial operation oil

in the fa cto ry or in a MERCEDES-
BENZ service station. This oil is

specially developed fo r the specific
operating conditions during the
firs t 3 00-600 m iles (500—1,000 km).

A recomm ended engine oil may be

used fo r topping up if the oil level

drops to the d ip stick minimum mark

p rior to the firs t service

3 00-600 m iles (500-1,000 km).

Brake Fluid

Brake fluid should be changed once

a year, preferably in spring.

Only use brake fluid recommended
by us. For fu rthe r inform ation, refer

to “ Save D riving” .
