NOTE:
Icons no. 11, 12, 13 and 14 have two different stages of
activation:
FULLY LIT (ICON COMPLETELY BLACK)
ONLY THE BORDER OF THE ICON LIT
When
the icons are fully
lit this means that you are operating within
that function.
For example:
if the fan symbol is fully on, this means that you are
modifying the speed of the hot air fan using button
no. 5
When
only the edges
of the icons are lit,
this means that the
function is active but you cannot modify it unless you enter the relevant
menu heading. When you enter the relevant menu the icon fully lights
up (see above)
For example:
if only the border of the fan icon is lit, you cannot
modify the speed of the fan by pressing button
no. 5
but the function is still active because the fan is
operating (if the stove is on). To modify the speed of
the fan, simply access the menu that allows that
adjustment and makes the icon fully light up.
4.4.4.
Type and replacement of batteries
The batteries are housed in the lower part of the device, in
correspondence with the support base. To replace the batteries remove
the cover, remove or insert the batteries as indicated by the symbols
imprinted on the remote control and battery itself.
Three 1.5 V (AAA) Micro LR03 Alkaline batteries are needed for
operation.
The remote control tells the user when the batteries are about the run
out via icon
no.4
. If the flat battery icon appears, this means that the
batteries are almost flat and the remote control is about to switch off.
If the remote control switches off due to lack of
battery power the stove can only be controlled via the
emergency panel on the rear of the appliance (see
paragraph 4.5). In emergency mode only a few basic
functions remain active: on, off and manual
adjustment of the three power/ fan levels.
The batteries supplied can have a limited life span.
We recommend that you keep spare batteries in your
home at all times.
When replacing the batteries, note the polarity
indicated by the symbols imprinted inside the remote
control compartment.
Used batteries contain metals that are harmful to the
environment. Therefore, they must be disposed of
separately in suitable containers.
