2. Once the location for the sensor is tested and approved for use, the sensor may be mounted directly on the
vehicle, or mounted using the supplied bracket (Figure 25).

If the mounting bracket is not used, follow these steps to mount the sensor directly on the vehicle.
• Place the provided drill template on the vehicle and mark the holes (see Figure 24 for mounting location).
Remove the template and discard.
• Drill 1/4" (6 mm) holes. Also drill a 1-1/2" diameter clearance hole for the sensor connector and mating cable
as indicated on the template.
• Secure the sensor to the vehicle using the (4) 1-1/4" x 10-24 bolts, (4) 1-1/4" x 10-24 locking hex nuts, and
the (4) 1-1/4" x 10-24 flat washers. Torque the bolts to a maximum of 22 in.-lbs.

Mount and Install the VideoLink
The VideoLink (P/N 1483927) is mounted in the cab between the camera system cable and the Extreme
Monitor/DVR system. Installation of the Buzzer Kit (P/N 1483944) is recommended (see Page 56 for installation
instructions for the buzzer kit).
1. Disconnect the existing camera system cable from the monitor.
2. Connect the 1483926 Monitor Adaptor/Cable between the monitor and the camera cable.
3. Plug the black Deutsch connector from the 1483926 Monitor Adaptor/Cable into the VideoLink (see Figure
26).
