6.5.6.3

LS00 and LS01 Adjustment

The following procedures are for use in adjusting limit switches LS00
(spindle clamp) and LS01 (spindle unclamp). A switch’s trip position is set
by adjusting its trip dog set screw.

The objective is to set both switches, slightly beyond the position, where
they change state from low (0) to high (1).

To adjust the clamp/unclamp limit switches, proceed as follows:

1. Determine which limit switch needs adjustment. Use

2. Adjust the limit switch, requiring adjustment. Use

3. If a malfunctioning switch cannot be adjusted by these procedures,

replace the switch as described in

section 6.5.6.4
