Rear Suspension Bush - Check

Refer illustration shown above.

Check all the suspension link Rubber Bushes for –



Wear



Ageing



Cracks



Metal sleeve separation.

2.

Check the Upper & Lower Links & Pan hard Rod for damage/ bent etc.

3.

Check shock absorber bushes for wear, crack and shift.



Observe following conditions even after wheel alignment –

(c)

Problem in vehicle ride and handling.

(d)

Noise from suspension joints even after specified joint torque values.



Refer illustration shown below for direction of fitment of voided bush.



Inspect link bushes at 40000kms and then every 20000kms.
