5.4 Troubleshooting (Physical)
Note: DO NOT switch the nerve monitor off & on to clear an error, unless instructed to
do so in the following table:

Pre-amplifier audio
connection test fails

Connect the Earthing Cable to the
equipotential point. See "5.5 Neurosign V4

Blank screen
Lack of power Check the power lead is correctly installed
in the power input socket on the rear of
the base and that the power switch and
mains plug switch are on.
Display connection cable is
not properly connected.
Check the cable is properly connected and
secured at both ends (see "1.4 Rear View"
on page 17).
If the problem persists please contact your
service provider (page ii).
Touch screen not
responding correctly.
The touch screen needs
recalibrating.
Refer to "6.3 User Maintenance &
Calibration" on page 76.
If the problem persists please contact your
service provider (page ii).
Touch screen not
responding at all.
DCU failure Contact your service provider (page ii).
The stimulating probe
fails to stimulate and
the current confirm
