Notch filter
• Toggle the notch filter ON ( ) or OFF ( ).
Enable the notch filter to remove mains power interference. The nerve monitor will
automatically adjust to the mains supply frequency of the country. Be aware that the
filter will also remove EMG signal frequencies centred around the same frequency
(50 or 60Hz), therefore some EMG data may be lost, but this may be preferable to any
mains-borne noise.
d. Transferring Profiles
If more than one Neurosign
®
V4 Intraoperative Nerve Monitor is used, the relevant
profiles can be copied between machines using USB memory stick (see "a. USB" on
page 24).
To export a profile:
• Insert the USB memory stick into the USB socket ( 4, page 16)
• On the home screen, select .
• Select .
• Select the profile to be copied onto the USB memory stick.
• Once the exporting icon has gone, the USB memory stick may be removed.
To import a profile;
• Insert the USB memory stick containing the required profile into the USB socket.
• On the home screen, select .
• Select .
• Select the desired profile from the list of profiles stored on the USB memory stick.
• Once the importing icon has gone, the USB memory stick may be removed.
