2.5 Connections

a. USB

The external USB port is located on the right-hand side of the touch screen

DCU housing (see page 16), under a rubber cover labelled

. The nerve

monitor is compatible with a basic USB 2.0 memory stick (available separately).

The USB cover should remain in place when the port is not in use to provide

protection to the USB port.

For more information on exporting files see "d. Exporting Reports" on page 59

and "d. Transferring Profiles" on page 53.

Note:

Only a basic USB 2.0 memory stick is compatible with the nerve monitor.

Do not attempt to connect any other devices - the USB ports are protected and

will not support unauthorised devices. Attempting to connect an unauthorised

device may result in damage to the device or the nerve monitor.

b. Keyboard

The nerve monitor has a built in touch screen keyboard.

c. Bluetooth

Warning:

Bluetooth export is not intended to be used when monitoring mode

is active.

The nerve monitor is capable of pairing via Bluetooth in order to wirelessly

export files. To connect to a device please see "c. Bluetooth Setup" on page

63.
