8 Troubleshooting
8.1 Error Messages and their Corrective Actions
Emergency stop button was pressed.#
Clear fault.
Disengage emergency stop button.
Push button to reset fault.
The system cools the bulb down until
100 % cooled.
Re-start operation – see section 4.5.
Continue normal operation.
Operating temperature of lamp housing is
too low or too high.
– Temperature may be too low (
≤
+10°C),
for example, if unit was transferred from
warehouse right before start-up.
– Equipment positioned too close to heat
sources or exposed to direct sunlight.
First allow unit to reach room temperature, then repeat ignition.
Remove equipment from heat sources or direct sunlight.
If the error message is repeated, send equipment to Henkel Technical Service for
checking and repair.
A controller fault has been detected.
Switch the unit off.
Allow bulb to cool down.
Repeat start-up.
Continue normal operation.
If the error message is repeated, send equipment to Henkel Technical Service for
checking and repair.
This fault will occur only during ignition of
the bulb, in case of severe current
fluctuations. Such fluctuations would
prevent the bulb from stabilizing at its
operating voltage.
Prevent power supply fluctuations.
