t. Drain water tank in accordance with paragraph titled Water Tank Draining Procedure.
u. Service water tank in accordance with paragraph titled Lavatory Water Tank Servicing.
v. If electrical power is no longer required, disconnect the electrical power source from the airplane in
accordance with paragraph titled Disconnecting External Electrical Power.
12. Page 3-107, Paragraph 3.14.12, Crew Lavatory Water Drain Servicing (AF68-0213, AF68-0216, and
AF69-0024) of the basic manual is amended, as a result of TO 1C-5M-544, to read as follows:
3.14.12 Lavatory Waste Tank Cleaning. (See Figure 3-34 and Figure 3-34.1.) Clean the waste tank in
accordance with the following instructions. Refer to Table 3-9 for materials and equipment required for
lavatory waste tank cleaning.
CAUTION
.
Use only fresh water to service the lavatory waste tank. Do not use water/MiraBowl Q
mixture (blue water). Failure to comply could result in damage to equipment.

Drain the waste tank if freezing temperatures are expected. Failure to comply could
result in damage to equipment.

Ensure waste tank is drained before performing Lavatory Waste Tank Cleaning. Failure
to comply could result in damage to equipment.
a. Open service panel door on bottom of aircraft at FS 815.
b. Drain the lavatory waste tank in accordance with paragraph titled Waste Tank Drain Procedure.
c. Open the lever lock cap of the rinse nipple (Figure 3-34, 4).
d. Connect the rinse water hose line of a Type A/S 32A-8 truck or equivalent to the truck and fill
lavatory waste tank with 20 gallons of water and disconnect servicing truck.
e. On tank cleaning adapter (Figure 3-34.1, 1) close Valve 1 (3), fill tube (6) with mild soap and close
Valve 2 (4).
f. Connect the tank cleaning adapter fill coupler (Figure 3-34.1, 5) to the rinse nipple (Figure 3-34, 4).
g. Connect rinse water hose line of a Type A/S 32A-8 truck or equivalent to the tank cleaning adapter
(Figure 3-34.1, 1) at lav fill nipple (2).
h. Start pumping water from service truck.
i. Open valves (Figure 3-34.1, 3 and 4) on tank cleaning adapter (Figure 3-34.1, 1) and add 10 gallons
of water.
j. Close Valve 1 (3) on tank cleaning adapter (1).
k. Stop the flow of water from the service truck and remove service truck rinse hose line.
l. Open Valve 1 (Figure 3-34.1, 3) on tank cleaning adapter (1) and allow residual water to drain.
m. Disconnect the tank cleaning adapter (Figure 3-34.1, 1) from the rinse nipple (Figure 3-34, 4), and
close the lever lock cap of the rinse nipple (4).
n. Close service panel door.
o. Allow solution to remain in the waste tank for 24 hours.
p. Drain waste tank in accordance with paragraph titled Waste Tank Drain Procedure.

as a result of TO 1C-5M-544, to be deleted in its entirety.
14. Page 3-113, Paragraph 3.16, title of the basic manual is amended, as a result of TO 1C-5M-544, to read
