FieldNET RTU Hop Patterns 0 to 7
Before changing the position of Switches 1-4 remove power from the Repeater.
Wait 10 seconds before changing the position of Switches 1-4. The Repeater
only checks the position of these switches during power up so it is important to
wait for the power to be completely drained from the Repeater.
Rx/Tx LEDs
The left and right radio modules on the Repeater each have Rx/Tx LEDs. When
the radio module receives a message on its hop pattern the Rx LED will blink.
When the radio module transmits a message the Tx LED will blink. Use these
LEDs to verify that the Repeater is transmitting and receiving data.
Dealer Supplied Parts
Electrical Cable to supply 120 VAC to the 12 VDC power supply is not included in
the Repeater installation kit. PVC for mounting the antennas is also not included.
The bracket that the Repeater power supply and repeater are mounted to can be
clamped to a horizontal pipe or railing, clamped to a vertical pole or bolted down.
G. Basic Link

Additional Information
The Basic link is used to monitor and control panels
that are not FieldBOSS or FieldVISION. The control
panel is wired into the Basic Link and the Basic Link is
connected to a FieldNET RTU. The Basic Link has (4)
120 VAC inputs and two relay outputs. One relay is
used for a start signal and the other is used for a stop
signal. The Basic Link has field wiring terminals for the
Normally Open contacts of the start relay and Normally
Open and Normally Closed contacts for the Stop relay.
The Basic Link is shipped assembled to a bracket with
a 12 VDC power supply. The 10 Pin connector is pre-wired to monitor and stop
most panels. Instructions are included with the Basic Link for connecting it to
