10. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Note: Do not apply battery voltage on

the starter relay for more than 2

seconds. This will result in

overheating or damaging the relay

coil.

Measure the coil resistance with the
multimeter. If the resistance
exceeds the specified value, replace
the starter relay.

The multimeter is set to 1x10Ω.

Starter relay coil resistance: 3-5Ω

Auxiliary starter relay

Apply 12V voltage between the

positive and negative terminals of

the starter relay. Test the connection

between A and B with the

multimeter.

If the starter relay clicks and is

connected, the starter relay is OK.

When there is no voltage of 12V,

they are not connected, the starter

relay is OK.

The multimeter is set to 1x10Ω.

Auxiliary starter relay coil resistance:

90-100Ω
