see whether steering column bearing is damaged or not.
Park vehicle on flat ground, make
sure the tire pressure for right and left
tires is same and set to the proper
specification, set the front wheels in the
straight position, then place a load of
75kg on the seat.
Measure the distance A and B of the
front wheels and calculate the
difference.
Toe-in.:B -A= 5mm
A: front of front wheel
B: rear of front wheel
Out of range of toe-in: →Adjust nut of
tie rod
CAUTION
After adjusting toe-in, fist rotate steering wheel from center position to the left and right
completely, to ensure that is the same corner, then slowly run vehicle to see whether its
direction can be controlled.
