N.
Close valves A, B, and E.
NOTE :
The cooling bath/coil is not necessary to do the fill procedure if the halon supply-
cylinder is pressurized.
NOTE :
The cooling coil keeps 0.50 to 0.70 lb (0.23 to 0.32 kg) of CBrF
3
. Allowance must be
made for this so that the container will not weigh too much after it is pressurized with
nitrogen.
O.
Remove the coil from the cooling solution.
P.
After the container pressure and temperature become stable, open valves C and F.
CAUTION : VALUES IN THE TABLE DO NOT INCLUDE THE CHARGING GAUGE TOLERANCES.
Q.
Adjust the regulator to the necessary pressure for the ambient temperature given in Table 7002

R.
Add nitrogen pressure to the container as follows:
(1)
Open valve E and monitor the fill-pressure gauge and the supply-pressure gauge until the
two pressures are equal.
(2)
Close valve E. Lift and shake the container to cause the nitrogen to be absorbed into the
CBrF
