After installing the operator panel tray assembly, complete the following steps:

1. Reinstall the top cover (see

“Install the top cover” on page 134

2.  Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
3.  Install the server in the rack.
4.  Power on the server and any peripheral devices.

Remove the front operator panel

Use this procedure to remove the front operator panel.

With the operator panel tray assembly removed from the system (see

“Remove the operator panel tray

assembly” on page 82

) , complete the following steps to remove the front operator panel:

Step 1. Press on the two release tabs on the rear of the front operator panel, and carefully slide the

assembly out of from the tray assembly.
