After disassembling the system board, comply with local regulations when recycling.

Disassemble the processor and memory expansion tray for recycle

Follow the instructions in this section to disassemble the processor and memory expansion tray before 

recycle.

Before disassembling the processor and memory expansion tray:

1.  Remove the processor and memory expansion tray from the server (see 

“Remove the processor and 

memory expansion tray” on page 110

).

2.  Refer to local environmental, waste or disposal regulations to ensure compliance.

Complete the following steps to disassemble the processor and memory expansion tray:

Step 1.  Remove the 13 screws as illustrated.

Step 2.  Separate the expansion board from the supporting tray.
