Stop
Display
The display shows the time (in minutes) if a time-based cycle is selected or the temperature of the core probe in °C for a probe cycle.
The symbol “
” on indicates the selection of a negative cycle.
Keys
The key SET
, allows you to select the blast chilling cycle.
When the Start/Stop
button is pressed for 4 seconds, the controller will go into Stand-by.
Pressing the Start/Stop button briefly starts or interrupts the selected cycle.
Pressing Up
, Down
allows you to change the time or the temperature of the selected cycle.
If the buzzer is active, when the Up
button is pressed for the first time, the buzzer will be silenced.
Start
Display in blast chilling
The display shows the time left (in minutes) if a time-based cycle is selected or the temperature of the core probe in °C for a probe cycle.
On the right side of the display, the symbol
indicating that the blast chilling cycle is in progress will flash.
Every 2 minutes on the display, the word “freezer” will appear for positive blast chilling and “chiller” for negative blast chilling and the time elapsed will flash.
If the door is open (contact not closed), the word “PAP” will appear on the display, indicating that it is open.
Keys
When the Up
key is pressed, the chamber temperature is displayed.
When the Down
button is pressed, the time elapsed since the beginning of the blast chilling will be displayed for 5 seconds.
If the buzzer is active, when the Up
button is pressed for the first time, the buzzer will be silenced.
If the Start/Stop
button is pressed briefly, the blast chilling / conservation cycle will be stopped.
WARNING
When a probe blast chilling is started, if, after 5 minutes, the error “PnS” appears, reposition the probe
in a more suitable manner, otherwise the blast chilling will be time-based.
At the end of the positive blast chilling phase, the system will automatically go into conservation mode
at a temperature between 0 and +3°C and the word “AUX” will flash.
At the end of the negative blast chilling phase, the system will automatically go into conservation mode
at a temperature between -22 and -25°C and the word “AUX” will flash.
To comply with the blast chilling times provided for by law, while a blast chilling cycle is in progress, it is
not advisable to open the door of the Blast chiller.
6.1 ALARMS
The alarms present are those relating to the probes. They are shown only when the relative
probe needs to be displayed.
“Pr “ General or internal error of the probes
“Pr1“
Chamber probe error
“Pr2“
Core probe error
“PnS”
Core probe not inserted correctly
If a blast chilling cycle is in progress and a core probe error is generated (Pr2), the cycle will be time-based, and
the error will remain displayed.
6.2 SETTINGS
Compressor
The compressor can be active only in start mode with the chamber probe not in error, the door must be closed
to give approval for the start-up of the compressor only if P6=0. With P6=1, the compressor is active even with
the door open and with the fan stopped for a limited time.
The compressor starts depending on the SET-POINT relating to the selected cycle and also depending on the
temperature differential set (Parameter P8).
