FORM. The
Relax Mass
is a massage seat cover with
4 rotating massage heads which simulate shiatsu
massage pressure and kneading techniques.
Thanks to its rotating massage heads which move
along a vertical axis, this device gives your whole
back a vigorous deep massage. This device also
has a vibrating massage function for the seat and
a heating function for the back.

THIS BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION
•
Use this device only in accordance with the
instructions given in this manual.
•
This device is not intended for use by people
(including children) with limited physical, sensory
or mental abilities, or by people lacking experi-
ence or knowledge, unless they are supervised or
have been instructed beforehand on how to use
the equipment by someone responsible for their
safety. Children should be supervised to make sure
they do not play with the device.
•
Do not use accessories that are not recommend-
ed by LANAFORM or that are not supplied with
this device.
•
If the power cable is damaged, it must be re-
placed by a similar one available from the supplier
or customer service.
•
Do not use this device if the power plug is
damaged, if the device is not working properly,
has been dropped on the floor or if it is damaged
or has been dropped into water. Have the device
examined and repaired by the supplier or cus-
tomer service.
•
Do not carry this device by its power cable or use
the cable as a handle.
•
Do not use drawing pins or any other metal
fastenings with this device.
•
Always unplug the device after use or before
cleaning.
•
Unplug a device that has fallen into water im-
mediately before retrieving it.
•
An electrical device should never be left con-
nected unsupervised. Unplug when not in use.
•
Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
•
Do not use this product before going to sleep.
•
Massage acts as a stimulant that may delay the
onset of sleep.
•
Never let anything drop and never insert any
object into any openings.
•
Never use this device in a room in which aerosols
(sprays) are used or in a room in which oxygen is
administered.
•
Do not use this device under a cover or under
a cushion. Excessive heat can cause fire, electro-
cution or injury.
•
To disconnect the device from the mains, ensure
that it is in the “Off” position and then unplug.
•
If you are concerned about your health, consult
a doctor before using this device.
•
Do not use the device:

if you have any pathological changes or lesions
affecting your back (e.g. herniated disc, open
wound),
·
during pregnancy,
·
when sleeping,
·
in a vehicle,
·
on animals,
·
during activities in which an unforeseen reac-
tion could be hazardous,
·
after intake of substances which limit sensory
perceptions (e.g. pain-relief medications,
alcohol),
•
If you experience any pain when using this
device, stop using it immediately and consult
your doctor.
•
Do not use this device for more than 15 minutes
at a time (risk of overheating) or allow to cool for
at least 15 minutes before re-using.
•
Never use this device on a body part that is
swollen or inflamed or if you have a skin rash.
•
Seek medical advice before using this massage
device:

if you suffer from a serious illness or if you have
undergone surgery on your upper body,
·
if you have been fitted with a pacemaker, im-
plants or any other ancillary device,
·
thrombosis,
·
diabetes,
·
for pain of unknown cause.

This product is a non-professional massage
appliance designed to relax tired muscles. Do
not use this device as a substitute for medical
treatment. It is intended only for home and
non-professional use.

Assembly
•
Place the cushion upright on a suitable seat with
a base and back (chair, settee, etc.). Ensure the
seat is set up such that it is in full contact with its
base and at the appropriate height for the back.
•
Use the fastening straps to attach the shiatsu
cushion.
•
Plug the device into the mains.
Use of the Relax Mass
Massage
•
Ensure that you are sitting comfortably on the
seat, with your back straight. Make sure you are
sitting in the middle, so that the massage heads
can move along both sides of your spine.
•
Switch on the massage device by pressing key
[1]. Select the area to be massaged using the
A+B/A/B keys [5/6/7].
•
The LED indicators display the massage area
selected.
•
You can activate the massage head heating
function by pressing the heat key [8].
•
The shiatsu massage unit with its rotating
massage heads slowly moves up from its start-
ing position on the lower back and moves up and
down the selected massage area.
•
When selecting the massage area, the automat-
ic off function is activated and set to 15 minutes.
The automatic off function can be set to 5, 10 or 15
minutes by pressing the timer key [2].
NB: the counter is reset after changing the timer
setting. To prevent the device from overheating,
select the maximum massage duration from the
