3.5 - HOW TO WEIGH WITH THRESHOLD
In the Weighing with Threshold Activity it is possible to program the weight value of a
single Ingredient/Unload. In this way, by programming one Ingredient/Unload at a time, it
is possible to execute a Recipe with an unlimited number of Ingredients/Unloads.
The operating mode is determined by the programming, in the Technical Procedures,
of the following Preferences: Display Resolution, Unit of Weight, Decimal Places, Date
Format, Print Heading, Language, Automatic Tracking, Prealarm Threshold, Queue Time
and Motion. The following operations are described considering that the Preferences are
programmed with the default settings.
1. In the Manual Weighing Activity press the
Ingr
key.
The [
PRESET
] message and the value [
0
] will appear alternately on the
display.
2. To program the desired weight value (max. 9,900 kg/lbs) use the
q z
(
e
) keys or
the Alphanumeric Writing (
2FN
).
3. To confirm the set value press the OK key.
The [
START
] and [
SE:
x ] messages will appear on the display, where SE
indicates that Weighing with Threshold is being performed, while x indicates the
weight value to be loaded or unloaded to reach the preset programmed value.
4. Start the loading or unloading operations.
The display will show the weight decrease, indicating the weight that remains to be
loaded or unloaded in order to reach the programmed value. When the displayed
weight reaches 15% (Prealarm) of the programmed weight, the display will light up
the flashing
Alarm symbol, and the equipment will intermittently activate the alarm
output. Continuing to load or unload, the switching frequency of the alarm output
will increase. When the weight shown on the display is equal or less than zero, the
alarm output will remain active for a period of 5 seconds (Queue Time). If during the
Queue Time a negative value should appear on the display, this means that a quantity
of material equal to the displayed value has been loaded or unloaded in excess with
respect to the programmed value. The loaded or unloaded weight is automatically
memorized in the Total Weight.
