3.2 - HOW TO PROGRAM THE RECIPES
The Recipe Programming Activity allows different types of Recipes to be programmed:
•
Recipes programmed by Totals in Load and Unload
•
Recipes programmed by Animal Number
•
Recipes programmed by Animal Number with Divided Unloads
•
Recipes programmed by Animal Number with Divided Unloads Only
The equipment features Technical Procedures that allow different Preferences to be set in
order to better meet the user’s specific needs.
The Recipe Programming Activity, the Preferences that modify the functioning modes are:
Unit of Weight, Decimal Places, Maximum Number of Recipes and Ingredients/Unloads,
Date Format, Language, Activity at Switching On, Reciping Mode. This manual was written
considering that the Preferences are programmed with standard settings.
Common Characteristics of all Recipe types
•
Depending on the Reciping Mode Preference setting (code 65), the Recipes can be
programmed as absolute values (such as kg) or as percentages.
If the Reciping Mode Preference is set to percentage, in the Recipe by Totals the
weights refer to the Total Recipe Weight, while in the Recipe by Animal Number the
weights refer to the Total Weight of the Single Animal.

It is possible to assign names with up to 6 alphanumeric characters to Recipes and
Ingredients/Unloads.
•
The equipment manages an Ingredient/Unload Name Archive that is capable of
memorizing up to 150 different Ingredient/Unload names.
•
Both Ingredients and Unloads can be programmed in the same Recipe.
•
All the Recipes can be Standard or Daily; in the Daily Recipes the weight of the
Ingredients/Unloads of the Recipes must be programmed with a value equal to the total
daily ration (morning and afternoon).
•
In the Recipes it is possible to program the Automatic Mixing Function that shows the
mixing time while interrupting in the preset position the execution of the Recipe, and will
resume the operation at the end of the count-down. If the equipment is supplied with the
Optional Power Outputs, it is possible to control the counter-knives of the mixing wagon.
