4.13.16 - SUPPLY VOLTAGE CHECK
This Function allows the voltage level at which the equipment is being
powered to be displayed.
The equipment, which is normally powered by a battery, checks the battery
charge level while operating, and signals it with a battery charge level
indicator on the display (see Appendix A - Error Codes).
1. Select the [
BAT. LEV.
] Function and confirm by pressing the
OK
key.
2. The [
Vdc
x.x
], message will appear on the display, where x.x indicates
the value of the supply voltage expressed in Volts.
3. To exit and return to the Special Function Menu, press the
OK
key.
•
During the normal operation of the equipment the
b
symbol will light up
on the display to indicate that the supply voltage is correct.
If the symbol is flashing, this means that the supply voltage level is less
than 10Vdc and the battery is running low; in this case terminate the
weighing operations immediately and recharge the battery. The time
remaining to finish the weighing operations depends on the type of
battery used. If the voltage level goes below 8.5Vdc, the equipment will
switch off automatically.
